Eben-Ezer French Seventh-day Adventist Church has been a pillar of faith and service in Elizabeth, New Jersey, since 1984. For years, our congregation gathered in rented spaces across the city until, by God’s grace and the generosity of donors like you, we acquired our current property on Broad Street in October 2005. While this building has served us well, it was never meant to be a permanent house of worship. Now, the time has come to build a true church home—one that meets the needs of our growing congregation and community.

We are not simply renovating—we are rebuilding from the ground up. The current structure will be completely demolished to make way for a brand-new church that can accommodate 400 worshippers, a spacious fellowship hall seating 200 people, and expanded parking to better serve our members and visitors. This new facility will not only enhance our worship experience but also strengthen our ability to serve the community.

Eben-Ezer is more than a place of worship; it is a beacon of hope in Elizabeth, dedicated to making a meaningful impact in people's lives. Our church actively serves the community through initiatives such as:

• Providing groceries to families in need through our food pantry

• Offering literacy and English classes for older adults

• Hosting annual health fairs with free medical screenings and wellness resources

• Organizing monthly fitness sessions to promote physical and mental well-being

• Serving warm Thanksgiving meals to our community during the holiday season​

As of December 2024, we have raised over $1,000,000 toward this ambitious project. However, the total cost of the rebuild is now $2.5 million, meaning we still have a long journey ahead.
